Systems Change Lab

Systems Change Lab is an open-source data platform that tracks progress across more than 70 critical shifts needed to limit global warming and protect people and the planet. The creative challenge was to translate a dense ecosystem of data, targets and interconnected systems into a clear, human story in just one minute.

We developed this explainer as a continuous journey, with characters cycling along routes that represent different pathways toward systemic change. Detailed environments, visual metaphors and seamless transitions create a dynamic narrative that makes complex ideas easier to understand and shows how climate solutions must advance together.
